A very old town, like Plymouth, but more religion-obsessed than any other town on the cape. Every poor widowed woman in Salem is currently being accused of witchcraft and several women have already been burned. They are very, very suspicious of outsiders and Salem's inhabitants know to toe the line lest they too be accused of witchcraft as well.
